Most of you who know me have the blessing of knowing my little sister, Amy! I will give a pass to those I have met in Moscow and Los Angeles, but any closer, and you should definitely have spent some time with her by now-- She is the best! If you don't know her, you should definitely take the time to have her as a new friend.
Amy's birthday is June 6--this Saturday. I am so sad that I will not get to be at home to spend the day with her, but wanted to at least write and tell her how much I love her! Amy and I have always been close, even if there have been times when I have not been her favorite person! We are eighteen months and six days apart. It's like having a built-in best friend, or at least someone to share makeup with! haha (Amy does all the hard work in this relationship--she buys the makeup, hair stuff, cute jewelry, yummy perfume, and I get to use it! Talk about a hard transition to LA!)
I consider myself very lucky to have Amy as a sister--she is a very caring, kind-hearted person and absolutely gorgeous! As one of the happiest, sweetest, most talented people I know, I hope Amy has an amazing birthday surrounded by good friends!
I love you, Amy! Thanks for sending me a letter every week of my mission in Russia; for the inside jokes; for the reading parties, sleepovers, and girl's nights with Orange Julius; most of all, thanks for putting up with me and always being my friend! I am so glad we had the chance to be roommates while I was at BYU!!! I can't wait for Lake Powell in August, and for you to come visit me in Los Angeles in October (I'm absolutely holding you to this one, you know!), and someday for our trip to Hawaii!
I love you girl! Have an amazing 24th!
