Simple Joys

Tonight Liv and I spent the evening together while Kim got together with a dozen of her best friends for Zumba night. Liv had fun pulling everything out of the drawers of our console table; she particularly like the screwdriver, needle nose pliers, and the bag full of buttons. I opened the bag and gave her a big, white button. The look on her face was priceless; it was like she had just been given the worlds most precious treasure and she knew how special it was. She held the button up to her shirt and looked so proud. It was amazing to see how special she felt. Little kids are so amazing. They aren't afraid to show their emotions.
